I know this, because my sister told me. She wants him to propose to me with it. What if hes not ready? Will he feel pressured because of this gesture or will he propose in his own time? I would really love my grandmothers engagement ring and I think I would be hurt if he rejected the gift only because he was not ready, especially as it my own grandmothers ring.
Im definitely going to propose to my girl friend. i haven’t found the right location but im thinking of just accidentally noticing something written in the sky. everyone will be looking up and when she looks down i will be on my knee. Yeah i know its really cliche or whatnot but it will be perfect because she knows im cheesy. Im not worried about the price because if i decide to do this it will be totally worth it. but just curious, how much?
I’m in a wedding and the bride is adamant about when she wanted the shower, what food she wanted, gitfs, etc. She has completely taken over as far as what will be served, and what gifts she wants to receive. Is this unreasonable? Shouldn’t the bridesmaids have been able to plan the party and take her requests into consideration, without her running the whole show?
We are planning on having about a 2 year engagment while we save for the wedding and while I finish up grad school. A lot of our friends have sent out engagement announcements but then they get married within a few months. I think 2 years is enough for everyone to find out about the engagement but is it customary to send out announcements anyway?
I know it varies but how much did you (guys) spend on an engagement ring? Is 00 enough or is that too ‘cheap’?
should i demand he make a better proposal or except this lame one? He originally claimed he’d never get married and he also never mentioned pre-nup.
My daughter is doing a school project. She is planning a wedding and is need a sample of a bride’s letter. Not sure if it is to the groom or parents. But on her list of things she needs it just says Bride’s letter. Also does anyone know where I can find a printable line up for a wedding.
What should be spent on an engagement ring? Any ideas?
Is the mother of the bride wearing black to the wedding because she disagrees with the ceremony or is a black dress appropriate fashion for the occasion?
Where is it best to purchase an engagement ring? A jewelery store chain, a large "Diamond Exchange" store, or a local jeweler?
