I have a long engagement with my sweetie and the two of us want to take advantage of right now to not focus as much on preparations for the marriage rather than the wedding itself, so what are some things you would wish or you have heard others say they wished they had done to help their marriage? My boyfriend and I were talking about how ridiculously engagement rings are and he asked me if when the time came if I wanted a diamond ring? I don’t like rings and I wouldn’t want him to spend an insane amount of money on an engagement ring. I wouldn’t mind something different, like an engagement locket!!
