Am I wrong for expecting him to ask me to marry him?
We have been together 2 years, live together with our children ( I have 2, he has 2 and we have 1 )

Some of those chicks I see online are smokin’ hot. Would it really be that strange to get a really hot 19 year old bride from the Ukraine that can barely speak english at all? I would have the hottest wife in the neighborhood, so how pathetic would I really be?

Is there any statistics on this, or on the success of the relationships long term? I know in this particular case neither the woman or the man in this relationship could really afford to buy the ring in the first place. If the woman "talks him into an engagement" what kind of chance does the marriage have in the long run? From a concerned friend

I am going to do both a fun engagement session as well as a serious one. I was thinking of including our dog and daughter in the fun one, and just my daughter on the serious one at the beach, but not in all. What do you think?

Trying to guage whether or not to hold a larger catered engagement party for about 50 people or a smaller intimate gathering for about 30 people at a restaurant. Wondering which is most cost-effective? Any ideas or tips?

I’m planning on getting everyone (bridal party and guests) a champagne glass and I’m just wondering if the brides maids and grooms mens glasses need to match the bride and grooms glasses. I know it would look nicer, but it would be more cost efficient to get them cheaper glasses. What do I do?
Yes, everyone in the wedding party will have a glass and the guests will have one (the one they drank from) to take home at the end of the night.

I use to watch this show all the time when I was younger but I can not for the life of me remember the name of the show. I’m pretty sure it was hosted by Suzanne Somers and they had men surprise their girlfriends with these crazy proposals. If anyone can help me that would be great!

I keep hearing that 2 year engagements are "abnormally long" and such. So how long IS a typical engagement? Not from experience, but I hear planning a wedding takes a LOT of work and time, so wouldn’t 1-2 years be ideal, logically?
