Part 1 of 3. By popular request, I've put together a definitve guide to your wedding or event invitation/stationery components. Do you need an inner envelope? RSVP card? Know the options available. Learn the "what to do/what not to do's".
Invitation Anatomy 101 – Typical Components – Part 1 of 3 is a post from: Wedding Layers - Tips, Ideas & Answers For Planning YOUR Wedding

“What am I supposed to have in my invitation?” This is one of the most common questions I get asked. The answer is quite simple: Anything! It’s true that convention doesn’t quite apply anymore with respect to what ‘goes’ for an invitation these days. That being said, there are a lot of components in the most common invitation styles. I should caution that there are literally thousands of options available – some a lot more unconventional and some are even bizarre. For the sake of brevity, I’ll keep my breakdown constrained to the more common components and options used in invitations today (as about 85-90% of invitation orders inevitably consist of these).

I’ve broken down my Invitation Anatomy 101 into two lessons: Typical Components and Optional (or Additional Components). The first I’ll describe here:

Typical Components

1) The Outer Envelope

Anchors your ‘invitation package’. This is your guest’s first impression of your wedding or event at the mailbox!

It is a good idea to have your return address printed on the back flap of the envelope in the same lettering as your invitation.

Your guest’s address may be handwritten neatly or written using the services of a calligrapher.

Outer Envelopes should be reasonably sturdy and presented to your post office (fully stuffed) to determine exact postage prior to stamping and mailing.

2) The Inner Envelope

Historically, inner envelopes were created to provide added protection to the contents of letters. That is, the outer envelope often suffered quite a bit of wear and tear between destinations, so the inner envelope would preserve the contents while identifying the recipient if the original address information wore away.

The need for an inner envelope no longer exists, but the romantic tradition remains. Nowadays, the inner envelope identifies only the invitees within the household (e.g. Mr. & Mrs. Wilhelm Schneider). No address is written on the inner envelope. All contents of your invitation package are placed inside the inner envelope. Usually the inner envelope back flap is left folded, but unsealed.

On a side note, I’ve found that amongst my clients only a small handful a year actually end up ordering inner envelopes. The decline in the use of Inner Envelopes is primarily due to the durability and material quality of custom invitation outer envelopes. This makes Inner Envelopes both expensive and redundant.

On a side note, I’ve found that amongst my clients only a small handful a year actually end up ordering inner envelopes. The decline in the use of Inner Envelopes is primarily due to the durability and material quality of custom invitation outer envelopes. This makes Inner Envelopes both expensive and redundant.

3) The Invitation

Obviously, the most essential component of your invitation package. If your invitation is a folded card, all other components should be placed inside the invitation. If this is not possible, or your invitation consist of a one-sided card, place all other components on top of the invitation. The goal here is to make the invitation package as neat and tidy as possible.

As mentioned, anything goes when it comes to invitations. However, some typical features of a custom or custom-inspired invitation may include the following:

Outer Card – Heavier weighted stock that envelops or mattes the invitation contents. This is the foundation of your invitation. The outer card can be anything from a plain card backing, to a pocket-fold enclosure to a multi-panel pocketed fold-out!

Outer Embellishments – Known as the finishing touches on the ‘exterior’ of the invitation. This can be a ribbon tie, wax seal, monogram, matted graphic, pictures, foil stamped image, name, slogan, clasp, etc.

Inner Card(s) – Usually, an inner card contains your invitation wording. There are hundreds of inner card options including, vellums, vellum overlays, mounted card, bound card, embossed cards, imported stationeries, decorative papers, embellished card or paper, folded cards, loose cards, etc.

4) The RSVP, Response, or Reply Card

Just as important as the invitation, the size and expense of your event is largely determined by the number of accepted/returned RSVP cards.

RSVP cards usually contain a blank line where the guest fills in his/her name and indicates the number of persons attending from his/her party. Usually an addressed and pre-stamped envelope is included to encourage your guest to respond as soon as possible.

RSVP cards can contain other information such as multiple dining options which must be chosen, or spaces for comments, requests, feedback etc.

TIP: Lightly number each RSVP card with a corresponding guest/invitation list. That way, if any RSVP card is returned blank without the sender’s information, you’ll know exactly which guest it is.

RSVP sizes are usually much smaller than invitations and contain an appropriately-sized return envelope. However, there is a trend towards more oversized RSVP cards (though still smaller than the invitation size).

Congratulations, now that you’ve completed the first lesson, you’re ready for the “Invitation Anatomy 101–Optional Components” articles now.

Your wedding is the most memorable event of your life. So, your <a href="http://www.sorellajewelry.com/wedding-jewelry-s/93.htm"target="_self"title="wedding ring" >wedding ring should be such that it symbolizes your feelings for your spouse. If you are considering a diamond wedding ring for this special occasion then you should expect it to stay on finger for a lifetime.

An Ideal Ring

Your wedding ring should ideally be one that is easy to wear. It should also be durable and look good on your finger. You can choose a ring studded with diamonds here! After all, a diamond wedding ring is one of the most permanent gemstones of all. It is very popular although a bit heavy on the pocket as well. But, if you handle and take care of your ring then it would last forever. Diamond is a hard mineral that retains its shine and remains scratch proof too. Choose whatever ring you desire too, ultimately your weddings rings have to be something which are truly precious to you.

Look Out For!

Your diamond wedding ring should be the highlight of any wedding ceremony. The price of the diamond is based on the 4 C’s. The clarity, color, cut and the carat weight, together, determine the value of the diamond. Carat is the measure in which you can weigh a diamond. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams. Go to the internet and find out more about the information on the terminology used to grade diamonds, the carat rate and the clarity of the diamonds before you purchase your ring.

Purchasing A Diamond <a href="http://www.sorellajewelry.com/wedding-jewelry-s/93.htm"target="_self"title="wedding rings" >Wedding Rings

Here are some tips on purchasing a diamond wedding ring.

Before you select one, try and get as much information as possible about the diamond that you want studded into your ring.

Ensure that the diamond you to purchase is clear. The clarity of a diamond is determined by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). This institute studies the number and the degree of flaws in a diamond.

Select the right cut to your diamond ring. The different angles and the magnitude of the stone is the cut of the diamond. The cuts are designed to reflect light from one mirror surface to another. A man wedding ring would ideally have a much larger diamond than a lady’s ring. The “fire” of the diamond comes with proper cuts and thus makes the diamond much brighter.

Choose a color your like! A diamond can be of varying colors. It can range form yellow to brown. The GIA grades the diamonds based on their colors as well. They are graded in alphabets from D to Z. The later alphabets indicate darker colors.

Several wedding ring sets are available which showcase both rings for the man wedding rings and rings for his bride. Select a diamond wedding ring which is the most enduring piece that you could have ever bought for your beloved.

Your wedding ring should be such that it symbolizes your feelings for your spouse. If you are considering a diamond wedding ring [http://www.weddings-marriages.com/wedding-rings/diamond-wedding-ring.html] for this special occasion then you should expect it to stay on finger for a lifetime.

Getting married soon? Nervous about the big day? Having jitters already? Learn how to beat the pre-wedding and wedding jitters. Overcome Wedding <a href="http://www.weddinglayers.com/category/wedding-planning/"target="_self"title="planning" >Planning Stress Syndrome, a term coined by former bride and wedding photographer assistant Victoria Carrington so that you will look and feel your best on your big day!

I was once a bride and I am now the assistant to Sam Carrington, my husband, owner of Sam Carrington <a href="http://www.weddinglayers.com/category/wedding-photography/"target="_self"title="photography" >Photography specializing in wedding photography. I have combined my experience with my continuing observation of brides and brides-to-be to coin the term Wedding Planning Stress Syndrome. Every bride knows that there is nothing more nerve-wracking than planning a huge event, especially one that will change your life forever (hopefully). How can you be aware of and overcome wedding jitters? The stress of a wedding comes from many sources and the first step to conquering a case of nerves is to recognize the causes of the stress. Stress and anxiety due to a wedding comes from:

- Planning- so many decisions to be made-how will you make the right choices? Choosing photographers, caterers, venues, florists, dress shops and cakes can be a daunting task, especially as most of us in this generation were not taught to entertain. How exactly do you know how to choose the right vendors? Various articles may point you in different directions. Each friend you talk to has a different horror story. The stress begins here.

-Perfection-everybody knows that your wedding day should be perfect right? That is not an easy ideal to live up to in any circumstance. Although we intellectually know that nothing can be perfect, our hearts still want the fairy tale wedding in which every little thing is perfect. Thinking about a breach in the desired perfection can lead to waking up in a cold sweat many nights before the wedding.

-Pleasing-so much of wedding preparation involves pleasing a myriad of others, some of whom may have opposing tastes and requests. At this delicate time of your relationship with your intended life mate, you must pay careful attention to his needs and the needs of his family. But what about your family and their wishes? And where exactly do your needs fit in here? Perhaps nowhere but it will be very stressful for you to figure this out.

-Position-some of the main stress of wedding planning may have to with determining your new role within your new family-to-be and sometimes even with your family of origin. You may need to jockey between your divorced parents or his, step-parents or even between your beau and his parents. The tension can wear you out and make you feel stressed. You may need to be a peacemaker or an umpire. In worst case scenarios, you may need to be block punches from being thrown.

You may be saying to yourself Yeah, all that stress stuff is true but I am too stressed to do anything about it. Anyway, a little stress can not be that bad can it?

Could I really have Wedding Planning Stress Syndrome?

The answer is-yes, stress can be very bad for you, your health, your relationships and ultimately for your enjoyment of your wedding day. The harmful effects of stress are well-known and they impact on your life as you are planning your wedding. Stress causes you to:

-not think as clearly as you should at times. You have a lot of major decisions to make and thinking clearly will be in your best interest. Being able to come up with a brilliant solution to a thorny planning problem will make you look good to your future family too.

-not feeling as good as you should. Physically, stress will wear you down. It will make you feel more tired yet it may make you not rest or sleep well at night. Stress can cause muscle aches, headaches and stomach aches. It can exacerbate pre-existing health problems at a time when you need to feel your best and get a lot done. Importantly, stress can also cause your body to be less resistant to germs and diseases as your immune functions get compromised. You certainly do not want to be sick on your big day!

-Not cultivate relationships like you need to. In this delicate time of navigating what will be the most important relationships of your life, you need to keep a clear head and be able to relate well to others, even those you may not like or with whom you may not have much in common. Stress can keep you so wound up that you do not trust anyone. You do not want that to occur.

You no doubt by now get the point that stress is bad. So what is a bride-to-be to do? First of all, I advise that you relax. How do you do that you ask? If you knew how to do that you would not be reading this article you say?

Well, our next step is to give you some tips on how to keep the stress level down before your big day.

Stress Busters to Help You Overcome Wedding Planning Stress Syndrome

-breathe. I mean it, really breathe. Throughout your long, busy and stress-filled days breathe and remember to breathe deeply and slowly. Taking a deep breath can be an immediate stress reliever. Just remember to breathe slowly. If you breathe too deeply and quickly you could get dizzy and feel faint. We do not want that to happen as you are engrossed in observing the intricacies of wedding cake decorating, for instance.

-brush up on your etiquette. A little please and thank you will build your patience and your character and help you to stop rushing around.

-Pray or meditate. For me prayer is the thing that works. Focusing on the Creator of all things for even a few minutes will make your problems, issues and concerns seem much smaller. Make this a regular habit and increase your quiet prayer time if you find yourself getting more stressed. Reading books about spirituality and similar topics, including the Bible, will also help you to stay focused on what is most important in this life.

-Stay connected to those you care about. It is easy to neglect our relationships when we get busy. Remember to still spend quality time with your groom-to-be after you are finished discussing wedding plans. Get to know your future in-laws better as you are working with them on wedding planning. Keep meeting with your girlfriends and do not feel that you need to discuss the wedding all the time. In other words, do not forget that the world does not revolve around you and your wedding and remember to take interest in what is going on in the lives of others.

-Take care of your physical health. Eat right and drink plenty of water. Get enough sleep each and every night and do not vary your sleeping and waking times too much. Get plenty of exercise, fresh air and sunshine.

-Pamper your body. Use luxurious lotions, fragrant bubble baths and tinted candles to create a relaxing environment for your body to de-stress. Get a massage, pedicure and/or manicure. Just taking a few moments out of a busy week or month on a regular difference can greatly reduce your stress level and help you overcome or even avoid Wedding Planning Stress Syndrome.

-Read a great book, go to a movie or even watch (mindless) TV if you must. Just find a way to lose yourself for a few minutes or hours (preferably using methods that are legal and not addicting).

-Speaking of addicting, it is probably best to avoid the serious stuff. I have seen one too many brides who seemed to be a little tanked up even before the ceremony and I tell you that it does not make for the best photos. If you start using say, alcohol for stress relief and treatment of Wedding Planning Stress Syndrome, you may come to rely on it for your wedding day and beyond. Save yourself some grief and drink sparkling Italian water instead.

-Most of all keep your perspective and have fun. Your wedding is meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime event, a time of joy to be cherished and remembered forever. Make up your mind that you are going to enjoy the journey as much as you enjoy the destination of the big day. Yes, things may not go exactly as you plan. Count on that and let it go. Yes, some people may drive you crazy. But your wedding day will last in your memory as the greatest day in your life. Choose to be happy!

When setting up a budget for a wedding, many couples forget to include a line item for tips and gratuities. Sure, you could bypass this area completely, but that really wouldn’t be very nice, now would it? It would also go against accepted wedding etiquette.

Maybe you think a quick $100 will cover tips to everyone? Well, it may have 50 years ago, but in current times, it’s not uncommon for this area to run into the hundreds of dollars. This is why it’s important to include them in the budget. Tips & Gratuities are known for being budget busters of many a wedding.

You will want to be sure to check contracts out because some have a gratuity included. In these cases, there is no need to tip those associated with these particular contracts, unless of course you feel that one of the staff goes way above and beyond. If that’s the case, you may want to slip that person an extra tips.

Now, as far as wedding etiquette goes, the following people should be (and expect to be) tipped:

Altar boys / girls – $10 to $15 a piece

Bartenders – 10% of the total bill (unless a cash bar)

Chauffeurs – 10 to 15% of the total bill

Coat Check / Restroom Attendants – 50 cents to $1 per guest

DJ – $50 to $100

Hair Stylist / Makeup Artist – 10 to 15% of the total bill

Valet Parking Attendants – 50 cents to $1.00 per car (on top of what guests give them)

Waitstaff – 15% of the catering bill

There are also some optional folks you may want to tip as well. You’ll need to know about how these type of folks operate and make the call from there. For example, if you are doing business with the business owner directly for a particular service – say a florist – they may be doing the work themselves and have been compensated fairly in the contract you have with them. In this case, a nice thank you note may suffice and would be most appreciated. However, if you are dealing with an employee of the florist, a tip would likely be appropriate.

Here are the folks that tipping is optional with:

Baker / Cake Designer – $10 or $20

Catering / Reception Manager – $50 to $100

<a href="http://www.weddinglayers.com/category/wedding-music/"target="_self"title="music" >Musicians – $5 to $10 per hour, per musician

Florist – $10 to $20 per staff member

Officiant: $75 to $200 – This can also be paid as a donation to the church

Photographer / Videographer – $50 to $100

On site Wedding Coordinator – $50

Wedding Planner – 10% of their total bill

Tips should be paid in cash and should be placed in envelopes. Plan on them being paid just as the vendor and staff are leaving. By doing this in this fashion, you’ll be able to judge how much of a tip they have actually earned. Don’t be afraid to make adjustments on the fly if necessary. The best man – or trusted person – will generally be in charge of taking care of this for you.

You may not have considered tips and gratuities to be an item worthy of being in your wedding budget. Hopefully, this article has shown you otherwise. You may want to set up a second account for expenses that may be overlooked so that you aren’t shocked by them. Consider funding this account to the tune of 10 to 15% of your total wedding budget. This is something that could save you from pulling your hair out trying to redo your budget so that it comes in where you need it to.

Be sure to keep these extra funds separate from your main wedding account. Don’t use these funds unless you run into unexpected expenses. This extra fund could go a long way to ensuring your wedding comes in at or under budget.

One of the most crucial themes of your wedding, even though you might not know it, is the <a href="http://www.weddinglayers.com/category/wedding-music/"target="_self"title="music" >music which you are selecting. Most weddings have different genres of music, and even though you aren’t quite sure what kinds of music you would prefer, there is no denying the importance of a wonderful wedding soundtrack. Having the right music is an important part of the success of your wedding, so you’ll want to be sure that you have checked out some excellent wedding music samples to get the ball running.

There are a number of places in your special day that you’ll want to have music for, and for each of these areas, you’ll need to hear some wedding music samples that can provide you a good idea of what the songs are like and how they’ll be suitable for your wedding.

As you begin to plan your music, you’ll want to have the music selected for each individual area, so make a list of the places where you require wedding music, so that you will have a good overview of what kind of music to use.

First of all, you’ll need music for the ceremony. This might be to an extent dictated by the setting you are getting married in, especially if it is a church. However, you can still listen to wedding music samples to make sure that you are on the right track. You’ll need to use music for when people are being seated, before the wedding actually begins.

You are going to also need to have music for each of the parts of your ceremony. On some occasions, this is in the form of a solo, and sometimes you’ll play music. You might want music for the lighting of the unity candle, for important parts of the ceremony, and other times. You’ll also need to choose songs for the processional, the bride’s entrance, and the recessional. This adds up to a lot of music to find wedding music samples for.

The other place you’ll want to find wedding music samples is for the reception. There are lots of songs that you’ll need to choose for the reception, and it is going to be up to you to make sure that you have the right music for the dance.

The wedding music samples that you might want to look at are going to include songs for your first dance together as husband and wife, and songs for dances like the father daughter dance, the mother son dance, and the wedding party dance. There are some other dances you might feel like doing. These might include tunes like a married couple’s dance, a family dance, and other dances that you might come up with.

One of the most wonderful things about looking at wedding music samples is that you are going to get a chance to hear what the song feels like before you decide to use it. This is important because you shouldn’t just go on the title of the song as it is crucial to make sure that the song fits into your wedding mood. Wedding music samples can help you make sure of this.

Aside from the photographer, the wedding location is the most important factor determining the look, feel and quality of your wedding portraits. Popular Laguna Beach Wedding Locations, Tivoli and Seven-Deegres, both have some drawbacks and some attractions for producing stunning wedding <a href="http://www.weddinglayers.com/category/wedding-photography/"target="_self"title="photography" >photography.

Tivoli

Tivoli is on the beach. The obvious advantage to this is you can get a variety of beautiful beach shots. However, if you look at beach pictures that have been taken in this location, you will notice that many of the shots have distracting beach houses in the background. Unless that doesn’t bother you, plan with your photographer to take pictures facing the water rather than with the rocks (and houses) in the background. Aside from this minor house distraction, Tivoli provides a variety of natural looking outdoor background and settings. There are rocky cliffs, ocean vistas, wooded areas and buildings with old European designs.

Some of the Tivoli reception centers are designed with an outdoor theme in mind. While this provides the potential for great natural lighting, if the whether turns cold or starts to rain, much of the photographic attraction to this location – the beautiful outdoor scenery could be nullified as it may be too cold or wet to venture outdoors. However, if it does rain, there are still some beautiful arches, doors and buildings against which to take your wedding pictures. Indoors, there is a beautiful black grand piano in the middle of a large room. A creative and artistic shot that various photographers have used with this piano is to have the bride lie down on the piano and take a shot of her from above. The black piano against the white wedding dress and the curve of the piano constrasted with a properly positioned bride creates a beautiful memorable artistic shot. So, while the real Tivoli photographic gem is the out door potential, there are some great indoor shots to be had.

One indirect photography consideration of Tivoli is the cost. Some packages cost $11,000+ for 100 guests. This could cause a bride to need to scale back on her photography budget in order to pay for the location.

Seven Degrees

Seven Degrees is a popular Laguna Beach wedding location with a modern look and feel. If this is the look that you desire, you will be happy with the number, quality and variety of modern and angular backgrounds. There are indoor areas that have large windows which provide excellent natural lighting. In addition, the location provides a large variety of high quality artificial lighting. This allows opportunities for creative filter and exposure work.

The potential disadvantage of this location is the lack of diversity in the genra. Seven Degrees is not on the beach. Thus, beach shots are not easily available- a significant disadvantage for many who choose to have their wedding in Laguna Beach because of the beach. Like Tivoli another disadvantage is cost. Although the prices are not posted and subject to change, the cost can be significant. Again this can limit the amount of money available for photography.

Laguna Beach is a beautiful city with temperate whether and many lovely wedding locations. Outside of the photographer you choose, nothing influences the style, variety and quality of your wedding pictures as much as the wedding venue. Taking the time to evaluate the locations based on their photography potential can help ensure you get the captured photographic memories you can treasure for a lifetime.

A wedding is a wonderful occasion where two souls are united while taking vows to be together and for each other for the rest of their lives. This is why everything has to be done in ensuring that the wedding is as memorable as possible. And one that needs lots of thought and consideration is the selection of the bridal gown.

1. The complexion of the bride is the most important point to consider when choosing the bridal gown. Women who are on the fairer side should wear dark colors while women who are more on the dusky or dark side should use light colors. This is because a contrast in the color of the bridal gown tends to enhance the beauty of the bride.

2. Another point to look out for when choosing the wedding gown is to choose a gown that matches the color of the bridegroom’s attire and your hairstyle. This is because since both of you will be the center of the show, it proves to be wiser on your part to collaborate your colors so that you look both harmonious and stand out from the crowd. In addition to this, the color of the bridal gown has to match the jewelry you intend to wear for the wedding.

3. Of course, your budget is an important factor in choosing your wedding gown. If you have a tight budget, make sure that you first allocate a certain amount of money for the bridal gown and choose the gown that falls within this range. However if you have money to spend, you can always go in for any designer wear. There is a huge collection of designer wear available for you to choose from in malls and designer stores.

4. Instead of choosing a plain bridal gown, you can make your gown more special by choosing wedding gowns having traditional wedding embellishments. Examples of such embellishments are a bell shaped skirt with a lace skirting or perhaps a modern wedding gown made of satin and decorated with lots of frills. It is up to you to choose the right bridal gown for the wedding.

5. If you are having a theme wedding, you will also have to keep the theme in mind when choosing the bridal gown. This is because different theme weddings call for different types of bridal gowns. It will not look right wearing a modern fitting bridal gown at a traditional church wedding; so keep this point in mind when choosing your bridal gown.

6. If you find it a bit difficult choosing your bridal gown, you could use suggestions from friends and family. This is because some bridal gowns may look great on a magazine, but will not look good on you. In fact, if you can afford it you could contact a consultant who will be able to decide which gown fits your body and age.

7. Take the fabric of the bridal gown into consideration when choosing your bridal gown. It is better to wear light weight clothes in summer while silk or satin are preferable for winter season.

There are many different types of titanium <a href="http://www.sorellajewelry.com/wedding-jewelry-s/93.htm"target="_self"title="wedding band" >wedding bands. The rings vary by the grade of the titanium, size of the ring, level of decorative additions to the ring, whether or not there are inlays and the use of different gemstones which could include rubies, diamonds, emeralds or other precious and semi precious stones. Men’s titanium <a href="http://www.sorellajewelry.com/wedding-jewelry-s/93.htm"target="_self"title="wedding bands" >wedding bands tend to be bolder than those for women, but they can still be fashionable without being heavy or plain. Even the plainest titanium ring can be very striking and the wearer never has to worry about allergic reactions to the metal.

Popular Types of Wedding Bands

Generally, titanium wedding bands come in the higher grades of metal. Often, the band is a simple circle with inscribed braiding or other decorative motifs on the face of the band. Some of the wedding bands feature titanium bands with gold or silver inlays. Many bands have the distinctive silvery color which is associated with the metal titanium, but there is also a form of black titanium which makes a very striking wedding band. The titanium may be inscribed or the inlay can be inscribed. Some titanium bands are designed making use of gemstones either in outline designs or as a showcase stone in a setting.

Plain Titanium Bands

The beauty of unadorned titanium wedding bands is very appealing to anyone who doesn’t want an overly fussy band. Many times the band is just inscribed with decorative designs. Braiding motifs or cross-hatching is found in many plain bands. The metal can be black or silver colored–either choice is available from top designers in the art of jewelry making. The titanium in the wedding band can be formed from different grades of titanium. The pure titanium is the slightly softer version and adding minute amounts of other contaminants such as silicon or tin makes the metal harder.

Titanium Wedding Bands With Gemstones

Men’s titanium wedding bands decorated with gemstones are becoming more popular, particularly when the man’s ring matches the wedding set of the bride. A very striking style features the titanium band with diamonds set in a bezel setting. Obviously, the titanium ring has a more modern look than the traditional gold or silver men’s band. Titanium is not so shiny as silver or gold, but it is still popular with men. The sparkle can be added through the use of the gemstones.

Adding Inlays of Gold or Silver

Men’s titanium wedding bands with inlays of gold or silver is a way to add detail to the basic titanium band. Since silver or gold has a higher luster than titanium it’s a method of making the basic ring appear more interesting without adding gemstones. There are some very beautiful designs in men’s rings that feature a double band of gold or silver or even black inlays. The inlays can be plain or inscribed with designs. The inlays can be full circle or in geometric designs on the top side of the ring.
