After the guy proposes does the couple go and find the guys’ ring together or does the woman go by herself and show him at the alter?
And what is the difference between an engagement ring and a wedding ring? Would you buy an engagement ring, she wears it during the time they are finances, and then he purchases a "wedding" ring?….

Traditionally the guy buys the girl an engagement ring proposes, then they get wedding rings, at the ceremony the girl puts the engagement ring on her right hand, the man puts the wedding band on her left ring finger then the engagement ring goes on after. Usually guys do not wear engagement rings. The wedding band goes on first because it is supposed to be closer to your heart.

i was actually wondering the same thing. i believe that the guy only has one..?? and i think the girl has 2 maybe? i have heard of a promise ring as the first ring, then an engagement ring, and the final ring is the wedding ring. im confused on it too.

Traditionally the guy buys the woman an engagement ring. She wears this while they are engaged. Then each of them buys the other a wedding ring. This is the ring that they say their vows with and give to the other at the ceremony. Most couples pick them out together. The women then wears her wedding band closest to her heart and the engagement ring next to it. The man wears 1 band.
I would say to move a promise ring to your right hand when you get an engagement ring.
