Or are both given when the woman accepts? Are engagement set and bridal set interchangeable? One ring is given before a ceremony and the other is reserved for at the ceremony.
Ok so a few of the posters of answers said they had never herd of an engagement set.. I had never herd of it either but I got a catalog in the mail from fingerhut and decided to browse their site and under jewlery/wedding there it was. Engagement set and bridal set.. both on the same page and to me they look like the same thing. One ring usually with a diamond and the second ring that is the same width decorated similarly without the diamond. Looks to me as they are one in the same.
