Where is a good place to shop engagement rings online? My boyfriend wants me and him to shop for an engagement ring and were not sure where. Our price range is from $ 0-600. Please and thank you.

I look at engagement rings and they all seem the same … mostly diamond solitaires.

Has anyone got any ideas for an alternative stone or something that makes your engagement ring a little different? Do it have to be just diamond?

My fiancee and I got plain engagement ‘bands’. Now for the wedding we are having more traditional rings made (with a diamond for her). Our wedding rings won’t match our engagement rings, and I can’t find any advice on what to do with the bands. Wear them on our right hands? Display them? Just keep them tucked away as a memory?

Personally i am not a very traditional type of person when it comes to engagement rings or so i have discovered as mine does not really look like one. I decided to go for something that looked modern yet antique something that i know i would pass down to my children when i’m older. But i;m worried people won’t think of it as an engagement ring……what to do?

Also, how does the binding of the rings work? Before or after the wedding ceremony?

I heard that in many countries brides are given wedding rings, but not engagement rings. Where did the practice of giving engagement rings originate, and what was the significance?

Im looking int engagement rings and i have no idea what im looking for. We have talked and she wants something that is simple and elegant so im going with a white gold band with a single diamond. But what size diamond? I guess what im getting at is what is the average carrot size for an engagement ring?

I am looking for engagement rings this week and was wondering if you could give me some good places to go or websites. I am looking for a ring that does not have the center stone already included as I would like to have aquamarine as the center stone. I would also like it to be a set with the wedding band with it. My boyfriend and I have looked at engagement rings and due to his comments I think he has already picked it up. I know he is waiting until the perfect time to give it to me but I am impatient because we have already started planning the wedding! He knows how I feel but I still don’t have a ring!
