Does all girls, as depicted in movie settings, rejoice when her guy propose to her, or some may frown and reserved?

I was just wondering how guys/girls would react to someone of the opposite sex were to randomly ask them if they wanted to have sex with them. Now all the outside conditions/factors please of coarse assess them with your answers….

My boyfriend and I are 19, and he is going into the Marines soon. I am not rushing for a marriage! not at least for another 4 years, but engaged would be nice I hear a lot of military couples get married young, just wanted to know what everyone thought! and also girls (or guys), if you want to add in how a military or marines relationship is feel free!
