Its time to begin planning for the big day. Now, I know most of us have thought about it off and on most of our lives. However overt the years our idea about the perfect may have changed, and as we got older the cost of living in today’s society has made a major impact on what we want and what we can afford. So what can we do to get the most out of this big day? We lets start with an actual plan and some of the more important aspects of that dream wedding.
The first tip you need to think about is just how much money you really have to spend on your wedding, which includes from this moment forward to returning from the honeymoon. If you plan your day right you can get the most from the expense account you have set aside for this day. It’s true that in the past many times the bride’s family helps with the finances but more and more today the bride and groom are footing the bill.
Tip 2 setting The Date and Time for your wedding. This is as important and setting aside the money to finance your wedding itself. When choosing the actual date you need to consider what time of the year you want to get married, what your closets friends and family members have going on, where you want to get married at, and see if they have lower rates during certain times of the year.
When it comes to what time of day to have your wedding on this can either save you money or cost you more depending one where the services will be held and the reception following. Some places have higher rates during the evening while with others it’s during the day.
The Wedding Guest List is tip number 3. This is an important tip; considering you will be making sure that the people you want there are included. You need to focus on family and close friends first. You might also ask your neighbors to join in, now I don’t mean the ones ten miles away but the ones you have considered as friends. Knowing the guest list makes it easier on deciding where you want the reception to be held and possibly even the location of the wedding itself.
This brings us to Tip 4 the invitations. You can go out and buy or order really expensive invitations or you can make your own. You have to consider how much money you are willing to put into the invitations, and how personal you want them to be. Many places can offer a wide variety of templates and allow you to mark how you want certain invitations to read, however you can do this yourself if you choose too. If you own a PC, Printer and have access to the Internet you can make your own very nice Invitations.
Don’t forget the RSVP on the invitations this will help you have a very good at which guest is coming. Make sure your invitations have all of the pertinent information in them, such as the locations of both the ceremony and reception as well. This will cut down on someone not knowing for sure if they can come and how to get there.
Tip 5 concentrates briefly on your wedding rings. If you haven’t added these into your budget then you should. Yes the groom to be normally chooses the engagement ring, but not always. It can be a very special moment and the rings are meant to last forever. So with this in mind you can go together and pick out the set that really does represent you.
The Dress and what you and your groom should be wearing are Tip 6. Just imagine a flowing gown with no veil to lift for that all-important kiss. Or what if the groom’s boutonnière does not match your bouquet, and what about the bridesmaid dresses clashing horribly with the matron of honor. Not only is having the right dress but making sure everyone at the wedding matches as well is very important and if done properly can help save you a ton of cash in your wedding plans.
There are many other tips to planning your perfect day, but these are ones that cannot be overlooked.
